Deerwood Entrance Work Commencing
If you come or go using the Deerwood entrance you will notice workers installing electricity and a sprinkler system in preparation for landscaping beds that will be added soon. The big decorative rocks that were in the Northwood Drive entrance have also been moved to the Deerwood entrance median. At some point, two stone columns will be added to mark the entrance.
City of Lake Jackson Benchmarking
As you drive around Northwood you might see fluorescent orange markings (numbers, arrows, etc.) on some curbs. These are survey markings placed by the city as part of a vertical benchmark they are conducting to better map city elevations.
